04 Common questions
What does OSINT actually mean here?
Intelligence derived from lawfully accessible sources: public records, filings, court documents, technical infrastructure data, media, and material published on forums and marketplaces. It excludes anything requiring unauthorised access, and it is not the same as simply searching the web.
How do you handle uncertainty?
Explicitly. Assessments carry a stated confidence level and the reasoning behind it. An intelligence product that hides its uncertainty is not more useful — it is less, because you cannot tell which parts to act on.
Can you brief our board directly?
Yes. Executive briefings are written and delivered for a non-technical audience, which usually means being clearer about what is not known as well as what is.
